Day 12 Pre-Spring Challenge Contest Stripes

I’ve got a big smile on my face writing this post. This day six months will be my wedding day. Big changes and moves are coming soon and I’m excited!

Another reason I’m smiling is because I learned another technique through this challenge. I learned how to use my fan brush to create these funky stripes. I watched a video on YouTube and tried it out! So, in two weeks I finally nailed sponging/gradient nails AND can now use my brushes more effectively! I can’t wait to do this manicure again with different colors! I really love this effect!

Happy Friday everyone! πŸ™‚Β 2 3 For this mani the base coat was Essie Blanc, then the stripes are OPI Strawberry Margarita and OPI Fly.

  1. What a fabulous mani for spring! Happy 6 months and counting……!

  2. Great minds think alike! I did the same for today’s challenge. I like the colour combination in yours.

  3. I bought a set of brushes a while back at Sally’s, but have yet to try them out. I think I am nervous that I will either ruin them by not cleaning them properly or somehow inadvertently break the space-time continuum. Hopefully I will work up the nerve to try them soon. This mani is really great, thanks for sharing! πŸ™‚
