Speed Dial & Bling!

DSC_0258

For this look I used Ciate’s Speed Dial and some nail stickers I picked up before I left Korea.

I like the look, but the stickers tend to peel off at the edges after a while. I would only use these for nights out anyway, they wouldn’t last a whole day.

For the top coat I used my new (and first) bottle of Seche Vite. I love it so much, BEST TOP COAT EVER. I always wondered what people were raving about and now I know! I actually found it at Bed Bath and Beyond in DC. Score!

Ciate: Fit For A Queen & Hologram

2

How pretty is this?! It’s bright, sparkly, and really classy at the same time (I think). I love how perky it is.

3

Fit For A Queen required multiple coats. It was really easy to miss bald patches otherwise. I think I used about four or five light layers and a little cover up as well. Worth it though, and it dries really fast.

I think that Hologram really adds oomph to this look. However, I was really disappointed at how badly the caviar stayed on my nails. I’ve bought nail caviar online before and it has stayed on for days. Almost immediately after application these beads started falling out. I’m hoping it was just the topcoat that I used.

Day 5 Pre-Spring Challenge Constest Sky

1

So far this is my fav mani of the challenge. I started off doing daytime skies then decided night was better. These remind me of my galaxy nails but I think these are more subtle. I sponged the clouds on. I dabbed glitter polish over them to make them seem a little more shiny.

Here’s what I used, Essie, ‘blanc’, Ciate, Powerdressing, Face It light blue  polish. Sally Hansen’s Something Blue for the glittery effect on the clouds. 2 3 4 5 6best

Day 1 Pre-Spring Challenge Contest (PSCC1) Yellow

1It’s my first time entering in a challenge and I’m a little nervous! I hope my manis don’t look too crappy beside all the others! Today’s challenge was yellow. I used Ciate Big Yellow Taxi, Bundle Monster Plate 311 (BM-311). I also used black Konad stamping polish and gold beads that I picked up in Japan last year and never got around to using.

Thanks to Polish Alcoholic and Mommy Loves Nail Polish for setting this up!

Ciate Caviar Mini Bar

3

For this manicure I used Pom Pom (red) and Jubilee (caviar pearls).

This is a mini collection. It comes with eight mini bottles. Four polishes (5mls) and four bottles of caviar(10g). On the back it lists the picture and name of each bottle for quick reference.

Not gonna lie, I squeaked a little when I got this! It’s just so damn CUTE!!! Plus I love the little funnel so you don’t waste the caviar.

From left to right the polishes are called: knickerbockerglory, pom pom, fit for a queen, and sand dune. The bottom row of caviar is called: prom queen, jubilee, hologram, and candyshop.

It’s a great size and WILL be one of my carry on items when I fly home!
