Lace Inspiration From One of my Favourite Bloggers

Hey fellow bloggers,

It’s been a while since I posted an actual nail art post, so here’s one for you! I used Casino Royale OPI, and Black Nail Paint by Barry M. 🙂

I had searched the internet for inspiration for a Halloween type mani, but wasn’t very inspired. Then I browsed back through one of my favourite blogs which is Trine Marie’s blog and I found this post on lace nail art.

She used different colors, and in my opinion her manicure is much neater than mine, but it was fun trying this out!

I recommend her blog to everyone because she has great fashion ideas, nail art, and is in general, a really interesting person! 🙂

Part of blogging is meeting new people and since I’ve been blogging I have to say I have three favourite bloggers. Here are their blog’s that I recommend you check out.

Trine Marie

Cowboys and Crossbones

Short and Sweet in Texas

Cowboys and Crossbones will have you loling around the floor at her antics and her sweet cat Ted is amazing.

Short and Sweet is amazing for finding cute nail polishes and showing them at their best.

All three of these bloggers are so enjoyable to read I really think they are amazing women. Too often I don’t have the time to blog but these ladies are religious about their posts. It’s fun to see what they are up to, and they often have great ideas that I like to try myself.

So, this post is a big thank you to them, for making my blogging experience so enjoyable and rewarding!

OPI Barefoot in Barcelona

Hey! Short post today, lots going on here. 🙂 This is Barefoot in Barcelona and I just made it a little more interesting with some black lace from Etude House.

Today my Glossy Box arrived, so did my swap with Julie from Short and Sweet in Texas! So I’ll have lots to blog about in the next few days! 🙂

I remember buying this colour because I wanted to broaden my colour spectrum. It wasn’t because I loved the shade or anything. But, now I see it and have worn it I really love this color and look. It’s subtle, and smooth, and warm, and I love it!

Estee Lauder Lilac Leather – and then some lace! :)

Ha, I think Greg is trying to tell me he’s gonna miss me! He came home with another  Estee Lauder polish yesterday! Perfect timing as I was ready to take off Narcissist. This time I used almost four coats because I wanted it to be really even across the nail. I love the color, but I didn’t want to do a straight up swatch so I decided to add french tips (Essie – blanc) and some lace nail stickers and oh yeah some jewels! I was really in the mood to decorate my nails last night! 🙂

Sheets of these lace stickers are on sale in most beauty stores here in Seoul, I love them! Tonight I’m heading out for dinner and a few drinks  so I’m glad I have girly nails for the occasion! 🙂

My cuticles and skin are really suffering in this weather! I’m moisturizing but it’s just not enough! Maybe the weather in Ireland will be kinder to me.

Teal and Lace

Here’s a quick and easy mani I did yesterday. I used OPI’s ‘Fly’ and lace stickers from The Face Shop. I haven’t used lace in a mani before and I really like the effect. Excuse my dry hands, the weather here is Seoul is brutal at the moment. Plus I never drink enough water! 2 3
