Wedding Outfit

 

Recently I was invited to a wedding. I was especially touched by the invite as I hadn’t had much contact with the bride in the past few years, due, mostly, to living in Korea. So, it was great to go and see old friends and neighbors. I didn’t have a date for the church part so my mam came with me.

Dress and cardigan are from Dress Barn. Shoes from Greene’s. Bag from Accessorize. The best thing about this outfit is how comfortable it is. 🙂 It’s rare to get me in heels but I kinda enjoyed them!

Fan Nails

 

Feels like it’s been forever since I’ve posted on my blog about nails! Things like working 12 hour shifts, planning a wedding, hanging out with people I haven’t seen in a while have all taken up my time, oh and working out too!! I got a trainer, his favorite word to describe me is ‘disaster’! It’s a complicated relationship. Anyway, I can’t promise a whole load of future posts, but I will try to make more of a nail art effort in the future!! I am, as always, enjoying lots of YOUR blogs and posts.

 

Here are some ‘fan’ nails I did a little while ago. This look is GREAT when you just don’t have time for delicate and intricate detail. A few quick swipes and a little clean-up and you’re good to go.

My second Glossy Box

In my second Glossy Box I got: A Collegen and Aloe Vera Facemask, Sun Sense Daily Face SPF 50, Yves Rocher Nutritive Vegetal, Nip + Fab Mango Smoothie and Richard War Couture Hair. The mask is useful, I like face masks so it will be used. The daily face stuff and the body cream I kindly donated to my mom, who has a steadily growing collection of samples now! I haven’t used the hair style ‘reviver’ . I’m not sure if I will because I hardly ever use hair spray and when I do I’ve found Elnett by L’oreal to be excellent. It’s not sticky and it doesn’t smell bad. I don’t love everything that I got in this box but I do like that the samples are a little larger this time.

I can honestly say the best thing about this Glossy Box was the box itself!! I’m gonna use it to put my mom’s gifts in as it’s her b-day in June!
