My Easter Manicure

2

These are my Easter nails. They go with my Easter chocolate! I like the cheerful yellow. I already blogged about this style of ombre nail art in light blue here, but I just love this design so much I wanted to do it again! (that doesn’t happen me very often!) I used Sally Hansen, Lightening and Essie, Blanc and a dotting tool too.

Tonight Greg and I and a few friends are having a going away party in our local. It’s happy/sad!! I’ll miss everyone I’ve gotten to know over the last four years but I’m really keen to get on with my life and get the wedding organised, go home to Ireland etc.!

I’m not going to think about it too much tonight I’m just going to have a good time with friends and wine! (and shots!)

These are the perfect nails for my evening, cheerful and bright!

Have a good weekend everyone! 🙂

Ombre Polka Dots

PicMonkey Collage

I’ve been feeling sick for the past few days so I haven’t really been blogging, sorry about that. Hopefully I’ll get more posts up next week. This is my attempt at ombre polka dots. I used Essie blanc, and a brand called Eclipse which I paid about 60c for.I really like the effect, I saw a youtube tutorial on how to create this look and I just had to try it for myself.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! 🙂

Penguins!

Because who doesn’t love penguins?!I got inspiration for this manicure  here. Sometimes I really like to see if I can recreate the manicures I see online. I think that’s ok, as long as I always give credit for the image and don’t try to pass the original idea off as my own, what do you guys think about that?

Santa Claus Nails :)

I love Christmas!! 🙂 My nails are making me smile today. My birthday is Christmas day so it’s always been a really special day for me.

I googled Christmas nail art and a version of this manicure caught my eye. I swapped silver glittery polish for silver nail tape. You can check out that manicure here.

Moo-tastic

I would like to say that there was a logical reason I decided to paint my nails  in cow print, but no. Nope. No reason. Just me being silly one evening and having fun with nail art. 🙂

I love how it turned out! I’m having a joint birthday celebration with my fiance next weekend and the theme is black and white, I might do something with cow/zebra print for that night out 🙂

To get the cow print effect I used my dotting stick. I just kind of pushed the black polish around a little section of the nail until I was happy. It didn’t take long and it wasn’t hard. I also used a thin brush just to round the edges a little.

I like the idea of messing up an elegant french manicure and putting cow print all over it, it made me smile!

The pink is from Etude house. The white was bought at at local beauty store the brand is Prorance.
